13. Answer call from Patient Station. (Audio/Visual Set-up Only)
(a) Press illuminated red button.
(b) Button color will change to green signifying call
connected.
(c) Talk to patient by using handset with built in push to
talk- release to listen switch or through panel speaker by depressing hands
free button on Master and using push to talk button on Master.
(a) Red LED will flash at rate corresponding to priority level
connected in control panel. Intermittent flash rates are as follows:
emergency/low – slow, emergency/mid – fast, emergency/high – rapid.
(b) Emergency LED on Master will be flashing at same rate.
15. Call from Emergency Station cannot be canceled or silenced at Master.
16. Intercom operation during emergency call from room:
(a) Depress flashing red room selector button.
(b) Room button will turn green signifying intercom connected.
(c) Emergency LED and tone signal will continue to operate.
(d) Depressing room selector button again will automatically put button back to
red flash mode.
17. Calls from Emergency Station can only be canceled at initiating station.
18. All call announcements are made by continuously depressing the “All Call” button while depressing the “Push To Talk” button on the handset and talking into transmitter. The All Call feature should be used for short announcements only, NOT AS A PA SYSTEM.
19. If two (2) DS2000 Masters are to be connected for parallel audio/visual operation, complete step 7, plus put H6 jumper header in the 1 and 2 positions.

IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT A COMPLETE SYSTEM CHECKOUT OF ALL DEVICES BE PERFORMED ON A REGULAR BASIS OF AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH FOR THE LIFE OF SYSTEM.
