GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The EEI Geriatric type Nurse Call Cord provides a means of placing a call through any patient station by momentarily touching the Air Bulb at the end of the cord. Each cord is six or ten foot in length and is provided with a pillow clip for attaching the cord to the bed linen.

ENGINEERS' SPECIFICATIONS

(1)The equipment described shall be manufactured and assembled entirely in the United States of America.

(2)A normally open momentary type call switch shall be an essential part of this device for placing a call on any EEI patient station.

(3)The cord shall be a minimum of six foot in length and constructed of a 5/16 by 3/16 inch diameter gray tubing.

4)The tubing must be a Medical Grade Gray Vinyl and should be available in various colors.

(5)The cord shall be Underwriters' Laboratory, Inc. listed (U.L. 1069).
