GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The EEI Nurse Call Cord provides a means of placing a call through any patient station by momentarily pressing the switch located in the easy to grip pendant. Each cord is six or ten foot in length and is provided with a pillow clip for attaching the cord to the bed linen.

1.The equipment described shall be manufactured and assembled entirely in the United States of America.

2.A momentary push type switch shall be an intricate part of this device for placing a call on any EEI patient station.

3.The cord shall be a minimum of six foot in length and constructed of a smooth, white, PVC jacketed, two conductor cable.

4.Each cord must have a molded, right angle 1/4 inch, mono type phone plug.

5.The call switch must be replaceable.

6.Each cord must be supplied with a pillow clip for attaching the cord to the bed linen.

7.This cord must be shockproof and withstand cleaning and sterilizing.

8.The call cord shall be Underwriters' Laboratory, Inc. listed (U.L. 1069).
