DS 2000V Annunciator

Installation Instructions

  1. Remove unit from shipping box.  Save shipping box and foam supports to return if warranty repair required.

  1. Tilt cabinet back and let rest on top edge.

  1. Remove (2) screws from bottom edge of Annunciator frame.

  1. Lift up on frame until frame clears bottom brackets.  Push toward top of cabinet until frame clears top bracket.  Annunciator can now be removed from cabinet.

  1. Stand case back to normal position and bring supplied cables through back opening.

*****WARNING*****

Be sure system power is in the off position before making any connections.  Failure to follow proper procedure will result in equipment damage and malfunction which will void any factory warranty.

6.      Connect cable that is labeled “A” to “A” position on terminal board in 900-203 Control Panel and to “A” position in Annunciator.  Do same with “B” cable.  Be sure cables are matched “A” to “A” and “B” to “B” on each end.  Also, be sure cables are completely seated.  They will lock in place when seated.

7.      Install Annunciator in case by reversing step 4.  Be sure cables lie straight across cabinet to keep undo stress off PCB.

8.      Turn system power on.  Green power LED should illuminate.

9.      Activate lamp test by simultaneously depressing top two buttons of a switch bank.  All buttons on that bank should illuminate red.

10.  Initiate call from patient station.

a.)    Red room button should illuminate.

b.)    Should have slow intermittent tone.

11.  Initiate call from Emergency Station.

a.)    Red room button should flash at rate corresponding to priority level connected in Control Panel.  Intermittent flash rates are as follows:  emergency/low - slow, emergency/mid - fast, emergency/high - rapid.
