The Engineered Electronics, Inc. DS2000 Model 900-500 is designed to work either
as a visual annunciator or intercom master. The conversion is simply
made by changing three header jumpers, plugging in handset, and adding handset
hanger all included in optional A/V kit.

The cables are supplied with connectors on each end. (2)A minimum of 1 1/2" conduit is required between annunciator / master and control to accommodate the 500-057 interconnect cables. (1)All equipment described shall be manufactured and assembled entirely in the United
States of America. (2)The Annunciator / Master shall have capacity to accommodate 80 individual room positions. (3)Each room switch shall be push on-push off type and be back lit with a red LED for call identification and green LED for call answered acknowledgement. (4)Lamp tests of all LEDs are accomplished from front of panel. (5)All room positions can be labeled at factory or through furnished software. (6)The Annunciator / Master shall be capable of working as a visual annunciator or an intercom master by simply changing three jumpers on the printed circuit board. It will also be possible to have complete master operation on first sixty lamp positions and set last twenty positions for either visual annunciator or master operation. (7)The Annunciator / Master shall be so constructed that drinks can not be set on the unit to prevent spillage. If liquid does get on front panel, it shall not affect switch operation or get to any electronic components. |
(8)There shall be an emergency indicator lamp which will illuminate whenever any
emergency device is activated. (9)There shall be a green power on indicator to insure system operation. (10)The Annunciator / Master shall have a hands free button which will transfer audio from handset to panel speaker. The hands free operation shall automatically cancel when handset is used. (11)There shall be an all call switch to make short announcements to patient rooms. (12)The optional handset shall be modular type with built-in push to talk switch. (13)There shall be a push to talk switch on front of master panel which will allow for intercom operation through panel speaker when in the hands free mode. (14)The cabinet shall be constructed of heavy gauge painted steel with a Lexan overlay across the entire front. The cabinet shall be designed for desktop, surface, or flush mounting. (15)Plugging in supplied 25 pair interconnect cables shall be the only connection necessary in master. (16)The Annunciator / Master shall conform to Underwriters' Laboratory, Inc. Standard (U.L. 1069). |
